Willie Nelson’s 4th of July Picnic is Taking Place on Screens Across the States this Summer

The perfect family summer event is here and it’s taking shape in living rooms across the United States. Don’t worry about buying a flight to see this famous event, instead enjoy performances from the simplicity of your home. The annual 4th of July Picnic, crafted by country music’s Willie Nelson will be shown virtually this year rather than in Willie’s Luck, TX ranch. So grab your lawn chair or prop yourself on your favorite seat of the couch, this 90-minute event is full of red, white, and.. bbq!

With 200 plus albums under his belt, Nelson will release his latest set of music, First Rose of Spring later this summer. The soulful tracks will add to his timeless archive of creative musicality when released on July 3rd.

Not only will this event feature the legend himself, artists such as Sheryl Crow, Ziggy Marley, and Margo Price will be joining him on camera for interviews and live-streamed performances from Luck’s Saloon and Chapel stages.

Along with these notable performances, the show will feature Chef Scott Roberts of Salt Lick BBQ and special guest Ray Benson who will light off the concert film segment.

“Our goal with the 2020 Picnic is to bring it back to what it was-in the only way we can during these times. We were set to host this year’s event at Luck, to welcome the Picnic back to its hill country home,” says Ellee Fletcher Durniak, co-founder of Luck Productions.

Tickets for the Willie Nelson’s annual 4th of July Picnic are $35 ahead of the event and $45 the day-of. Tickets can be purchased here.
