The album opens with its title track, a bright and cinematic declaration originally started by Elijah Ocean. Throughout the project, Leigh leans into classic country themes with sharp wit and self-awareness, from the pedal steel–driven “Dumpster Diving,” which reflects on leaving a bad relationship behind, to tales like “Tell Me,” that anticipate terrible news.

The album also showcases Leigh’s prolific collaborations, particularly with Alex Miller on tracks like the jubilant “Thank God You’re Gone.”  Leigh closes the record with intention, pairing the reflective “I’m Easy To Love After All,” written for producer Kevin Skrla, with the instrumental closer “Little Magic Wolf,” a haunting Western vignette. Together, the songs form a cohesive statement of heart, humor, and hard-earned wisdom, reinforcing Leigh’s place as one of country music’s most assured and thoughtful voices.

Influenced by artists like Dwight Yoakam, Merle Haggard, and Buck Owens, Dozier has developed a sharp ear for authentic country storytelling and timeless arrangements.

Now based in Nashville, Dozier has sharpened his craft through long nights playing honky tonks on Lower Broadway and constant writing with his band.
