“THE REAL DEAL” is the latest album from country music veteran and Oklahoma native Jamie Richards. The new album is now available via digital retail and streaming platforms. “THE REAL DEAL” will be Richards’ seventh studio album of his long and prosperous solo career; Richards has also tallied seven No. 1 hits in the last three years. By the same token, the country music artist has totaled two million streams on Spotify alone.
When Richards was asked about his new album he said, “I love lyrics and I take pride in writing songs with a storyline that seems like a movie screenplay; listeners can almost see it…” Richards also added, “…we didn’t stray from tradition or my style; the project is straight-forward country. I guess that’s why the title ‘THE REAL DEAL’ is so fitting.”
Richards’ album features beautiful instrumentals from his touring band. “THE REAL DEAL” showcases Richards western vintage style while playing the acoustic and electric guitar.
“I Want To With You”, the second track off the album, is already on top of the music charts in Texas. Later along in the album we hear “Seeing Me Like This”, featuring artist Bryan Martin, which is a ballad about a man whose two passions eventually meet at one point. Near the end of “THE REAL DEAL”, listeners encounter the duet “Great Minds Drink Alike” featuring Tommy Alverson.
