As a literal “Woman of the West,” country music singer Stephanie Quayle celebrated the indomitable spirit of a western woman with the release of a brand new concept video. The video, released a month ago, illustrates the fantastic views of Quayle’s home state of Montana. Also, the artist’s newest single ‘Wild Frontier’ backs the visuals to make the experience for everyone even better.
In the bridge of Quayle’s song, she sings:
“We’ll run wild and free,
like it’s supposed to be…”
Not only in this instance but throughout the song as well, Quayle paints the picture of what Montana is, an expansive yet beautiful land. She believes that this is what Montana should be like for anyone who has the chance to experience it for themselves in their lifetime. In other words, the CMT “Next Women of Country” inductee was ecstatic about embracing her western roots. Above all, Quayle loved celebrating the western lifestyle that made her who she is today.
“If you ask me… the women of the West is how the West was won,” says Quayle. “This concept video for ‘Wild Frontier’ is all about sharing their legacies and continuing the message of the cowgirl heart — it’s not about fitting in, it’s about breaking the mold. The best way to share our message forward is to watch cowgirls ‘do,’ and for young girls to look up to them and know that this wild frontier is ours for the taking — to create, respect and push ourselves without limits.”
Additionally, Quayle shines the spotlight on some of the women who are keeping the West ‘wild’ in their own way. A few of these women include: Katie Kershner, Brandi Phillips, Mesa Pate, and Tammy Pate. Also, the artist features Adele Schott, Amy Raymond, Ja’Dayia Kursh, Natalie McFarland, and Sydney Jones.
