Jake Hoot Partners with Bri Fletcher on “There’s Still Tomorrow”

Season 17 winner of The Voice Jake Hoot just released “There’s Still Tomorrow” with Bri Fletcher. I sat down with Jake in Nashville to talk about his music and career since The Voice.

“There’s Still Tomorrow”

The track is co-written by Fletcher and produced by Justin Wantz and puts two artists’ vocals on full display, while they take turns on lead.

Fletcher talked about the writing process for the song. She explained, “I was writing with one of my best friends Katie Austin, who was about to get married and had been thinking about vows for a few days straight. She had this idea for the song about how could you say I love you, but more? We had a great group of writers that day and all walked away knowing it was an instant hit. I was so thrilled to record this song with Jake because not only is he the nicest, most genuine guy, but he is also incredibly talented and picked up the song and even all my crazy requests for vocal runs. I’m so proud of this song and hope everyone loves it as much as I do!”

After The Voice

In addition to this new song, Hoot has done some exciting things since winning The Voice. He released a duet with his coach, Kelly Clarkson, a duet with his wife, and he’s looking forward to even more new music. Hoot expressed what a genuine person Kelly is and seemed thrilled about the partnership.

What’s Coming up for Jake Hoot

Next month, Jake Hoot will release his next single “180,” a boot-scootin’ Brooks and Dunn style song. We love any type of 90s throwback country sound and we’re here for it!
