Randall King Invites Special Guests for “You in a Honky Tonk” Video

Warner Music Nashville artist and Amarillo, Texas native Randall King has released the music video for his popular song “You In A Honky Tonk” off 2022’s Shot Glass album, which was filmed at Cahoots Dancehall & Honkytonk in Lebanon, Tennessee. This is the same location where King had his first headlining show in the state.

The viral success of a dance routine performed by a couple in a user-generated video prompted King to feature the dance in the official music video. Directed by Brooke Greenberg, the video showcases the couple’s routine that has generated a significant amount of engagement and user-generated content in response. King extended an invitation to the couple to participate in the official video shoot, further fueling the popularity of the dance and the song.

King’s early days of playing for tips and growing his touring base in West Texas, he has developed a reputation for keeping his audiences on the dance floor. King boasts “when it came time to shoot the music video, we had to have the ‘You In A Honky Tonk Two Step’ featured,” and he featured the duo behind the scenes of the shoot.

The song was written by John King, Matt Rogers and Brandon Day, and produced by Bart Butler and Ryan Gore.
