A Banner Year for Lainey Wilson
The Whirlwind World Tour follows a remarkable year for Wilson, whose latest album Whirlwind is nominated for Best Country Album at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards. Produced by Grammy-winning Jay Joyce, the album debuted at #8 on the Billboard 200, marking Wilson’s first top 10 entry. The record features the Top 5 single “4x4xU,” which is on track to become her eighth #1 hit.
Wilson’s achievements in the past year include being inducted into the Grand Ole Opry, headlining the Dallas Cowboys’ Thanksgiving Halftime Show, and winning numerous awards, including Best Country Album at the 2024 Grammy Awards. Her CMA Awards hosting debut alongside Peyton Manning and Luke Bryan further cemented her influence in the genre.
Versatile Talent Across Music and Acting
Known for chart-topping hits like “Watermelon Moonshine” and the 2x Platinum-certified “Heart Like a Truck,” Wilson has collaborated with top artists, including Post Malone, Jelly Roll, and HARDY. Beyond music, she made her acting debut in Yellowstone and contributed the track “Out of Oklahoma” for the Twisters movie soundtrack.
