Dolly Parton is celebrating love—and wine—this Valentine’s Day by launching her very own signature Pinot Noir under the Dolly Wines label. Coincidentally released in the same month as her iconic song Jolene fifty-one years ago, the hand-crafted California Pinot Noir is perfect for romantic Valentine’s Day dinners or festive Galentine’s Day gatherings.

Taking to social media (@dollywines), Parton encouraged fans to raise a glass and toast her new “shooting star,” Pinot Noir. The vibrant, ruby-red wine marks Dolly Wines’ fourth release globally and second in the U.S.

Changing Her Tune About Red

“For many years, I have not liked the color red because it reminds me of that woman who tried to take my husband! Remember, ‘Jolene, Jolene, Jolene,’” Parton shared on Instagram. “But my new Pinot Noir has changed all that! I love red now. You should try it.”

The wine’s silky texture and fresh palate, enriched with notes of red fruit and hints of vanilla, deliver a joyful experience in every sip. With aromas of sweet cherries, oven-fresh blueberry pie, and subtle dried thyme, the Pinot Noir earned an impressive 92-point rating from renowned wine critic James Suckling.

Available now in-store and online at leading retailers including Kroger, Total Wine & More, Publix, and Cost Plus World Market, this premium wine is priced accessibly at a suggested retail price of $14.99 USD.

“We are incredibly proud to bring Dolly Wines’ Pinot Noir to the market,” said Ming Alterman, Accolade Wines Marketing Director, Americas. “This release is a testament to the exceptional craftsmanship of our winemaking team in partnership with Parton Family Cellars. It perfectly embodies Dolly’s vision—a wine meant to celebrate life’s big and small moments with loved ones.”

A Toast to Success

The launch of this red varietal follows the success of Dolly Wines’ U.S. debut Chardonnay, which received a stellar 93-point rating from Wine Enthusiast. Known for its notes of white peach, sweet cream, and toasty oak, it made a splash with wine enthusiasts and collectors alike.
