George Strait and Chris Stapleton Extend Stadium Tour into 2025

George Strait Concert

George Strait continues to prove why he’s the King of Country, breaking records with his historic 2024 performance at Kyle Field in Texas. With an astounding 110,905 fans in attendance, George Strait: The King at Kyle Field set a new record for the largest single-ticketed concert in U.S. history and the biggest event ever held at the stadium. The show was part of his limited 10-date tour last year, which also included a major stop at Allegiant Stadium for his 37th Strait to Vegas show.

Following that incredible success, Strait is returning in 2025 for five more stadium dates alongside eleven-time GRAMMY winner Chris Stapleton. The tour will feature Parker McCollum on the Philadelphia, Pittsburgh, Buffalo, and Foxborough stops, while Little Big Town will join for the only West Coast show in Los Angeles.

George Strait’s Excitement for 2025

Strait expressed his gratitude and excitement for another round of shows, saying:

“I keep trying to slow down a bit, but you keep calling me back. Please don’t ever stop. I still love it just as much as I always have,” shares Strait. “Thank you for an amazing year last year, and I can’t wait to see you for a few more again this year. Chris will be back, and glad to have Little Big Town with us in LA. For the other cities, we’ve added Parker M. to the show, which will be outstanding. Can’t wait to see you!!”

The Associated Press, reflecting on Strait’s performance at MetLife Stadium, praised how he turned a massive stadium crowd into an intimate honky-tonk experience, stating:

“Strait turned a space of tens of thousands across many demographics into something resembling the intimacy of those honky tonks he’s always singing about.”

Similarly, Pollstar described Strait as “the most worthy inheritor of Merle Haggard or Willie Nelson’s mantle of country icon.”
