Country music’s rising star Emily Ann Roberts kicked off the first weekend of Blake Shelton’s ‘Friends & Heroes’ Tour with three electrifying performances. Bringing her signature blend of traditional country and bluegrass influences, Roberts delivered unforgettable sets in front of sold-out crowds in Lexington, KY, Knoxville, TN, and Greensboro, NC.

As she continues making waves in the country music scene, Roberts also announces the release of her second single, “Scratching Out A Living,” set to drop on March 14. Fans can pre-save the track here.

“Scratching Out A Living” – A Tribute to Hardworking Women

Produced by the legendary Mac McAnally, “Scratching Out A Living” is an upbeat, high-energy anthem celebrating the relentless hustle of hardworking women. Featuring bluegrass influences with a modern twist, the song perfectly captures the struggles and triumphs of those balancing daily demands.

“My mom and dad used to always say they were scratching out a living when we were growing up,” Roberts shares. “They worked so hard to provide for me and my sister and taught me that if you want something, you have to work for it. I’ve learned that lesson in a big way pursuing my dreams in country music. I wanted this song to feel like the to-do list of all the things you have to check off throughout a workday.”

Co-written with Shane Minor, Torey Harding, and Jordan Larsen, the track showcases Roberts’ signature storytelling and soulful twang, resonating with fans who appreciate authentic country music.
