After eight standout performances and countless incorrect guesses from judges and fans alike, the identity behind the sea-inspired “Pearl” costume was finally revealed. Grammy-winning country artist Gretchen Wilson emerged as the winner of The Masked Singer Season 13, taking home the coveted Golden Mask Trophy during the season finale.

The panel—Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg, Ken Jeong, Rita Ora, and Robin Thicke—along with host Nick Cannon, offered a range of guesses throughout the season. But it wasn’t until her final performance that Thicke correctly identified “Pearl” as Gretchen Wilson.

“Craziest Thing I Ever Agreed to Do,” Says Wilson

Following her win, Wilson shared her thoughts on the unforgettable experience:

“This is without a doubt the craziest thing I ever agreed to do, and it ended up being one of the most rewarding,” said Gretchen. “The cast and crew were some of the craziest people I’ve ever worked with, and they all became like family. ‘Pearl’ is safely back in the ocean, but her gloves may resurface on the ACM Red Carpet!”

A Season of Show-Stopping Performances

Week after week, “Pearl” kept the panel and fans guessing with a versatile mix of songs, ranging from country to pop to classic rock. Her setlist included:

  • “Here You Come Again” – Dolly Parton
  • “Saving All My Love For You” – Whitney Houston
  • “Conga” – Gloria Estefan
  • “Don’t Fear The Reaper” – Blue Öyster Cult
  • “Your Love” – The Outfield
  • “You Don’t Own Me” – Lesley Gore
  • “Black Horse and a Cherry Tree” – KT Tunstall
  • “I’ll Stand By You” – The Pretenders

These dynamic performances carried her all the way to the top.
