Produced by Rick Rubin with additional contributions from Childers and Nick Sanborn of Sylvan Esso, Snipe Hunter is a 13-track collection that blends brand-new material with road-tested fan favorites like “Oneida” and “Nose on the Grindstone.” The album was mixed by Grammy-winner Shawn Everett.
Known for his distinctive sound that bridges Appalachian storytelling and genre experimentation, Childers continues to evolve creatively while remaining rooted in authenticity. As the Associated Press noted, he is “one of country music’s most compelling and unpredictable artists.”

The Rustin’ in the Rain single “In Your Love” became a cultural touchstone, earning multiple Grammy, VMA, and ACM nominations. It has since garnered over 13.7 million video views and 215 million on-demand streams while receiving high praise from Rolling Stone, NPR Music, USA Today, and more.
