Clay Walker to Host Annual Band Against MS Gala in Texas

Clay Walker Band Against MS Gala

Texas native and country hitmaker Clay Walker will return to his home state on November 22 to host the annual Band Against MS Gala. Founded by The Clay Walker Foundation in 2012, the event supports patients living with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) and funds critical research toward finding a cure.

The gala will take place at the Thompson Hotel and includes a seated dinner, live entertainment, special guests, and a charity auction. Tickets and sponsorship opportunities are available now, inviting supporters to take part in an evening that celebrates progress and perseverance within the MS community.

A Personal Mission to Fight MS

Walker’s passion for MS advocacy began after his own diagnosis with Relapsing-Remitting Multiple Sclerosis in 1996. Inspired to take action, he established The Clay Walker Foundation in 2003 to raise awareness, fund research, and offer assistance to others living with the disease. Since its inception, the organization has raised more than $2.6 million for MS research and support programs.

“Living with MS has taught me a lot about myself and the work that is needed to bring this disease to its knees,” Walker shared. “Our foundation is determined to make a difference in people’s lives now, and to protect those who are at risk in the future.”

A Busy Year on Stage and Beyond

While Walker’s advocacy remains a central focus, his music career continues to thrive. He is currently wrapping up his DRIVE ME SMOOTH headlining tour and performing on Country Cruising this week. Fans can also catch him on the Grand Ole Opry and at his upcoming headlining debut at the Ryman Auditorium on November 9.

Looking ahead to 2025, Walker is already confirmed for major festivals including Tortuga, Two Step Inn, and Boots in the Park. He is also set to portray country legend Randy Travis in the upcoming biopic Forever and Ever, Amen, currently in development.
