ACM Honors Returns to FOX: Celebrating Country Music Icons

The 16th Annual ACADEMY OF COUNTRY MUSIC HONORS is making a triumphant return to FOX for a second year, promising an evening of remarkable celebrations and performances by some of the biggest names in country music. This star-studded event, often referred to as the “Country Music industry’s favorite night,” will shine a spotlight on a remarkable lineup of special honorees and showcase the talents of several renowned country music artists.

Carly Pearce, a four-time ACM Award winner, is set to host the ceremony for the third consecutive year, adding her charm and musical prowess to the mix. Pearce will not only guide the evening’s festivities but will also grace the stage with a performance that’s sure to captivate the audience.

Among the esteemed honorees being recognized at this year’s ACM HONORS are the illustrious Chris Stapleton, recipient of the ACM Triple Crown Award, as well as legendary figures in the industry: Clint Black, Mary Chapin Carpenter, and K.T. Oslin, who will receive the prestigious ACM Poet’s Award. Kane Brown, whose impact reaches far beyond U.S. borders, is set to be honored with the ACM International Award, while the iconic Tim McGraw will be celebrated with the ACM Icon Award.

An impressive roster of performances is scheduled for the event, with artists set to deliver unforgettable moments on stage. The list includes ACM Lift Every Voice Award recipient BRELAND, ACM Award winner Chris Janson, the chart-topping trio Lady A, the multi-talented Keith Urban (a 15-time ACM Award winner and 2018 ACM Entertainer of the Year), and the exceptional Trisha Yearwood, a three-time ACM Award winner. Joining them are other esteemed artists, including Brandy Clark, Jordan Davis, the remarkable duo The War And Treaty, Bailey Zimmerman, Emily Shackelton, Anne Wilson, and many more. The 16th Annual ACM HONORS, a pivotal event in the country music calendar, is scheduled for Wednesday, August 23, at Nashville’s iconic Ryman Auditorium. The list of Special Awards recipients for the 16th Academy of Country Music Honors includes Clint Black, BRELAND, Kane Brown, Mary Chapin Carpenter, Charlie Cook, Charlie Daniels, Mike Dungan, Ashley Gorley, HARDY, Bill Mayne, Tim McGraw, K.T. Oslin, Chris Stapleton, and Troy Vollhoffer.

The 16th Annual ACM HONORS will be produced for television by ACM Productions LLC. Damon Whiteside serves as executive producer for the Academy of Country Music, while Martin Fischer holds the position of executive producer for Opry Entertainment. Edie Lynn Hoback takes on the role of producer, ensuring that this extraordinary event is brought to life for audiences to enjoy.
