Adam Hood and Brent Cobb Team Up for New Single “Four On The Floor”

Adam Hood and Brent Cobb

Singer-songwriter Adam Hood has teamed up with longtime friend and collaborator Brent Cobb for his latest single, “Four On The Floor”, now available on all digital streaming platforms. The track is a tribute to the simple joys of Southern living, delivered with a swampy groove and electric guitar riffs that perfectly blend Hood’s signature tenor with Cobb’s raspy charm.

Co-written by Hood, Cobb, and songwriter Jason Saenz (Little Big Town’s “Song Back” and Tigirlily Gold’s “End Up Us”), “Four On The Floor” is also the title of Hood’s current tour, which began in January and continues through June 2025.

A Song Rooted in Fun and Southern Simplicity

Hood describes “Four On The Floor” as a song that isn’t meant to be deeply complex but rather a feel-good, laid-back tune inspired by real-life conversations. “Sometimes, music doesn’t need to be complicated—it just needs to hit right,” he explained. “‘Four On The Floor’ is one of those songs, built on real conversations and a groove that keeps things rolling.”

Cobb adds that the song is a classic example of the chemistry between him and Hood. “We’ve been sitting on this one for quite a while, so we’re excited to get it out! We co-wrote it with our good friend Jason Saenz, and it’s a class ‘Cobb and Hood’ tune – something that can never go out of style.”

A History of Collaboration

This isn’t the first time Hood and Cobb have worked together. In 2022—the same year Hood made his Grand Ole Opry debut—he released his album Bad Days Better, produced by Cobb. Their creative partnership continued into 2024 with a series of digital singles, including “Beat That Train,” “Bills in Alabama,” “Here to Tell Ya,” and “Stage Lights.”
