Country artist Alex Miller pays tribute to his late grandfather with the release of his latest EP, “My Daddy’s Dad.” The five-song collection, produced by Jerry Salley, showcases Miller’s heartfelt homage to his roots.
The EP kicks off with the energetic track “She Makes Dirt Look Good,” followed by the classic Western sound of “Oh, Odessa.” “The Last House In God’s Country” reflects Miller’s deep affection for his grandparents’ farm, while “Ain’t Ever Saying Never” delves into the theme of missed opportunities in love. The set culminates with the poignant title track, “My Daddy’s Dad,” a touching tribute to the man who influenced Miller’s musical journey.
Miller, the 6’ 6” country entertainer from rural Lancaster, Kentucky, has captured hearts with his dynamic performances. Rising to fame on American Idol Season 19, Miller’s debut album, MILLER TIME, and subsequent EP, “COUNTRY,” have garnered widespread acclaim.
