Easton Corbin Country Artist

Easton Corbin, with his rich baritone and unique blend of classic and contemporary country music, has been captivating audiences for over a decade. This Florida-born singer-songwriter boasts two chart-topping hits, “A Little More Country Than That” and “Roll With It,” and continues to push the boundaries of the genre.

Signing with Stone Country Records

Easton Corbin recently signed with Stone Country Records, a new label focused on championing traditional country music. There, he joins forces with industry veterans Benny Brown, Paul Brown, and Jason Sellers as their flagship artist. Corbin feels a special connection with Benny Brown, bonding over their shared love for the roots of country music. He’s no stranger to songwriting himself, having penned tunes with Jason Sellers before joining the label. Corbin thrives in his role as Stone Country’s leading artist, appreciating the freedom to express himself creatively.

“They let me do what I want to do and let me be me, which is very important,” says Corbin.

Corbin’s Signature Sound: “I Can’t Decide” and Beyond

Easton Corbin’s neotraditional sound shines brightly on his debut single with Stone Country Records, “I Can’t Decide.” Co-written with Corbin himself, producer Wade Kirby, and the esteemed songwriting duo Ashley Gorley and Rhett Akins, the song features soaring pedal steel guitar alongside a driving beat and plucked guitar rhythms. This upbeat track allows Corbin’s warm vocals to take center stage.

A longtime collaborator with producer Carson Chamberlain, Corbin also continues to write with other talented artists including Kirby, Shane Minor, Adam Craig, and Wyatt McCubbin. In fact, he co-wrote the romantic ballad “Marry That Girl” with McCubbin.

Focus on Songwriting and Authenticity

The past few years have seen Corbin dedicate more time to songwriting, striving to craft meaningful messages for his listeners in his upcoming project.

“It’s about being authentic and that’s what I always focus on when I write or record,” he says. “I keep one foot in traditional and one foot in the modern and marry those two. That’s really been my motto through the years.”

Award-Winning Artist with Staying Power

Throughout his impressive career, Corbin has amassed seven top 10 singles and three American Country Awards. Billboard recognized him as their Top New Country Artist in 2010. Easton Corbin is known for his unwavering commitment to traditional country music, evident in albums like “Your Big Sky.” His self-titled debut album was a critical success, with iTunes Rewind naming it the Country Breakthrough Album of the Year in 2010. American Songwriter has also praised Corbin’s smooth, Southern vocals.

Staying True to His Roots

Despite his achievements, Corbin hasn’t forgotten his upbringing in Florida, where he listened to country legends like Merle Haggard and George Jones with his grandparents. His latest album, “Let’s Do Country Right,” is a testament to his love for the genre’s roots. This 14-song collection features a mix of new and previously released tracks, including the fan-favorite “Marry That Girl.”

“I do love traditional country music. That sound is what drew me to country music as a genre. One of my very first records was a Merle Haggard album when I was a kid. The way he delivered a song, the emotion in his songwriting and in his voice, he was just the whole package.”
