Zach Top: Where Classic Country Meets Modern Fire
Don’t let anyone tell you real country music is a thing of the past. At 25 years old, Zach Top is breathing new life into the genre, channeling the heart and twang of 90s legends like George Strait and Keith Whitley.
Hailing from a Sunnyside, Washington ranch, Zach’s country roots run deep. His childhood memories are filled with the dusty rumble of an old Chevy truck, Marty Robbins blasting on cassette, and evenings spent feeding livestock. By the age of seven, his passion for music led him to form the bluegrass band “Top String” with his siblings.
Throughout his teens and early twenties, Zach honed his skills in various bluegrass bands, including the award-winning Modern Tradition. This group dominated bluegrass radio, scoring a #1 hit with “Like It Ain’t No Thing.” But the bright lights of Nashville and the dream of classic country tunes beckoned.
In 2021, Zach took the leap, landing a key publishing deal with Major Bob Music. Since then, he’s become a rising star, receiving multiple invitations to perform at the legendary Grand Ole Opry. It was there that he made his national debut with the electrifying single “Cold Beer & Country Music.”
Recognized one of our country artists to watch in 2024, Zach Top is poised to take the country music world by storm. Catch his infectious energy live or crank up his latest hits – Zach Top is where classic country meets modern fire.
