Country music’s cowboy troubadour Chancey Williams has released his highly anticipated new album, Miles On Me, now available on all streaming platforms. The former saddle bronc athlete turned singer-songwriter continues to prove he’s not just wearing the hat, he’s lived the stories he sings about. Along with the album’s debut, Williams unveiled the official video for the project’s standout track, “Past the Point of Rescue,” produced and directed by Kenzie Holmberg of Bonafide Cowboy.

A Record Rooted in Authenticity

Produced by Brice Long, Miles On Me captures the spirit of the American West through eleven tracks that balance grit, heart, and melody. From the rough-edged swagger of “One Bad Mutha Buckaroo” to the introspective title track written by Tom Douglas, Bill O’Hanlon, and Lee Thomas Miller, and the recently released “Pearl Snap Preacher,” the album celebrates both the toughness and poetry of the cowboy way of life.

“I am super proud of this album. I think it really represents my best body of work to date and who I am as an artist right now,” Williams shared. “Brice Long has become a great friend, and we worked closely together on every song. He really understands what I’m about, but he also challenges me to explore new ideas and say something different with each record. We’re really having fun — and I think we’re just getting started.”

The Spirit of the Rodeo Lives On

Miles On Me features contributions from some of Nashville’s most respected songwriters alongside Williams’ own writing. The project reinforces the Cheyenne Frontier Days Hall of Fame inductee’s reputation as one of the few modern country artists who truly lives what he sings. From the rodeo arena to honky-tonk stages across the country, Williams embodies the cowboy spirit both in life and in music.

Currently on his Miles On Me Tour, Williams continues to connect with audiences nationwide through his authentic storytelling and high-energy performances.

About Chancey Williams

A true cowboy in every sense, Chancey Williams has made a rare transition from rodeo arenas to the biggest stages in country music. As one of only two artists (alongside Chris LeDoux) to both compete in the rodeo and perform on the main stage at Cheyenne Frontier Days, Williams was recently inducted into the event’s Hall of Fame as both an athlete and an artist.

The Wyoming native has toured nationwide, sharing stages with country greats like Toby Keith, Cody Johnson, Alan Jackson, Dierks Bentley, and Parker McCollum. He’s headlined at The National Finals Rodeo, performed at a sold-out Ryman Auditorium, and made his Grand Ole Opry debut.Named iHeartRadio’s Rocky Mountain Country Music Awards Entertainer of the Year in 2022, Williams also earned Songwriter of the Year for “The Saint” and Album of the Year for 3rd Street. With his sixth and seventh studio albums, One of These Days (2023) and Miles On Me (2025), Williams continues to honor the cowboy tradition while bringing a fresh energy to country music.
