A Year of Milestones for Chris Stapleton

The summer tour caps off an impressive year for Stapleton. He is nominated for two awards at the upcoming 67th Annual Grammy Awards: Best Country Album for Higher and Best Country Solo Performance for the song “It Takes A Woman.”

At the CMA Awards this past fall, Stapleton claimed three trophies, bringing his total to 19 CMA Awards. With these wins, he tied Brooks & Dunn for the most CMA wins ever and further extended his record for Male Vocalist of the Year with an unprecedented eight victories.

The Acclaimed Higher Album

Stapleton’s latest album, Higher, produced by Dave Cobb, Morgane Stapleton, and Chris Stapleton himself, has been widely praised. Rolling Stone called it “dazzling,” while GQ noted, “In an age rife with division, he’s maybe the only thing Americans all agree on.” The album also landed on several “Best of” lists from outlets like Billboard, Esquire, and Vulture.

Collaborations and Iconic Performances

In addition to his solo success, Stapleton has recently collaborated with artists like Post Malone, Dua Lipa, and George Strait. He also contributed a rendition of Tom Petty’s “I Should Have Known It” for a tribute album and returned as a musical guest on NBC’s Saturday Night Live.

Earlier in 2023, Stapleton performed the National Anthem at Super Bowl LVII, adding another milestone to his illustrious career.

The Legacy of Chris Stapleton

From his breakout album Traveller to his most recent releases, Stapleton continues to redefine country music. Traveller was certified 5x Platinum, while subsequent albums, including From A Room: Volume 1 and Volume 2, have cemented his status as one of country music’s most influential artists.

Beyond music, Stapleton and his wife Morgane are co-founders of the Outlaw State of Kind charitable fund, supporting causes close to their hearts. He also recently launched Traveller Whiskey in collaboration with Buffalo Trace Distillery’s Master Distiller Harlen Wheatley.

Don’t Miss Out

Stapleton’s “All-American Road Show” is set to be one of the hottest tours of the summer. Mark your calendars for January 14 for pre-sale access and January 17 for the general on-sale.
