Chris Young is proving his staying power once again with the upcoming release of “Til The Last One Dies,” marking his debut single on Black River Entertainment. The multi-platinum artist revealed the exciting news today following his headlining show in Beaver Creek, CO. The song is set to drop on April 4 and fans can presave the song now.
A Love Song for the Ages
Written by Ben Hayslip, Seth Mosley, and Jordan Walker, “Til The Last One Dies” is a song Young immediately knew he had to record.
“Songs like this don’t come along every day, and I haven’t released a ‘wedding love song’ in a while,” Young shares. “Those songs are a core part of who I am as an artist. I’ve been doing this for a long time, and yet this feels like a new chapter. It’s invigorating for me as a creator.”
For the first time, Young teamed up with producer Andy Sheridan to co-produce the track. This release follows the Grand Ole Opry member’s 14th career No. 1 single.
A New Label and a New Beginning
Young’s move to Black River Entertainment in late 2024 was announced exclusively with Billboard. With over nine billion global streams, 14 No. 1 hits, and numerous ACM, AMA, CMA, and GRAMMY nominations, he brings a powerhouse career to his new label home.
The Tennessee native first made his mark with the romantic classic “Gettin’ You Home (The Black Dress Song),” and over the years, he’s become a global headliner and prolific songwriter. His career boasts 54 RIAA certifications, a testament to his lasting impact on country music.
