Grammy-nominated artist Chris Young gears up for the release of his highly anticipated ninth studio album, Young Love & Saturday Nights, set to hit the airwaves on March 22 under Sony Music Nashville. The album, featuring the Billboard-charting title track, marks Young’s first release since the acclaimed “Famous Friends” in 2021.
At 18 tracks, Young Love & Saturday Nights stands as Young’s most ambitious project to date. Boasting his songwriting prowess on 15 of the album’s sides, Young also takes on the role of sole producer for three tracks, sharing co-producer credits with long-time collaborators Chris DeStefano and Corey Crowder.
Rejecting the trend-chasing mentality, Young elevates his musical journey emotionally, sonically, and stylistically. From poignant ballads to rowdy anthems, the album promises a raw and powerful musical experience. “It’s a little louder, a little more raw. Even the stripped-down songs are heavier,” says Young. “I love creating music, and the fact that I get to do that for a living is a pretty incredible thing.”
