“CMA Fest” Celebrates 50th Anniversary with Epic Television Special

The Country Music Association (CMA) made an exciting announcement today, revealing that the highly anticipated “CMA Fest,” dubbed the Music Event of Summer, will air on Wednesday, July 19 at 8/7c on ABC. This three-hour primetime concert special, filmed during CMA Fest’s momentous 50th anniversary in Nashville, will be hosted by the talented trio of Dierks Bentley, Elle King, and Lainey Wilson.

Expressing her enthusiasm for the hosts, Sarah Trahern, CMA Chief Executive Officer, shared, “I could not be more excited to welcome Dierks, Elle, and Lainey as our ‘CMA Fest’ hosts this year. As fans experienced last year, the energy Dierks and Elle bring to the stage is palpable and will only be amplified with the addition of Lainey this year.” Trahern emphasized the deep passion these artists hold for CMA Fest and the global community of country music fans who flock to Nashville for this monumental event. The combination of their infectious energy and love for the genre promises an unforgettable celebration of 50 years of CMA Fest.
