Country fans looking for the perfect summer soundtrack have a new anthem to add to their playlists. Country Evolution is excited to officially premiere JD Shelburne’s “Summertime All Year,” a high-energy, beach-inspired track that captures the feeling of endless summer. The song will be featured on his forthcoming 2025 album Raised on the Good Stuff, set to release in late summer.

Written by Phil O’Donnell, Tim Morgan, and the late Joe Diffie, the track blends coastal imagery with feel-good energy and classic country charm. It’s a song meant to be played with the windows down, whether you’re driving along the beach or dreaming of your next getaway.

“I have been in search of a summertime anthem over the last year and finally found Summertime All Year!” said Shelburne. “I hear firsthand from all my fans on beach vacations always telling me, I need a ‘beach song.’ Well, I have answered their call. It’s become one of my favorite feel-good, high-energy, top down, beach vibe summer anthems I’ve heard, and I am so thrilled for my fans to hear it here first!”

With vivid storytelling and uplifting instrumentation, the song quickly paints a picture of sun-soaked days and fun-filled beach scenes. Shelburne added, “My fav line in the song says, they’re throwing a frisbee back and forth, running and riding those boogie boards, there’s a white sailboat sitting out past the pier and we’re kicking it back where it’s summertime all year. That paints a perfect picture! I’ve lived that.”

From the Stage to the Shelf: JD Shelburne Unveils Signature Bourbon

JD Shelbourne Bourbon

As excitement builds for the release of Raised on the Good Stuff, Shelburne continues to grow his presence not just in music, but in business as well. The Taylorsville, Kentucky native has recently teamed up with up-and-coming locally owned bourbon company, Inclusion Brand Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, to release his very own Signature Series Bourbon.

Shelburne made his debut appearance for the bourbon line this past Saturday at Liquor Barn in Middletown, Kentucky, drawing a capacity crowd and signing bottles for over three hours. The launch was a resounding success, with nearly 400 bottles sold during the first stop of his bottle-signing tour. Fans lined up for hours to meet him, get their bottles signed, enjoy giveaways, and even experience a special in-store performance.

The bourbon tour will continue through the summer and fall at select locations across Kentucky. The Louisville kickoff event was supported by Kentucky Living Magazine and WDRB Fox Louisville, making it a memorable day for both Shelburne and his fans.

With a summer anthem heating up the airwaves and a bourbon label flying off the shelves, JD Shelburne is showing no signs of slowing down in 2025.
