A New Spin on Collecting Music
A new physical music format is making waves in the industry. Tiny Vinyl, a four-inch playable record designed as a modern collectible, is now available online and in stores across the United States. The format offers fans a fun, limited-edition way to celebrate their favorite artists while embracing the ongoing rise in vinyl popularity.
Created as a bridge between traditional music collecting and today’s appetite for compact collectibles, Tiny Vinyl pieces are designed to fit in the palm of your hand. Each disc measures four inches and can hold up to four minutes of audio per side, functioning both as a display item and a fully playable mini record. Rather than replacing standard vinyl or digital formats, Tiny Vinyl aims to give fans an extra way to enjoy music in a curated, collectible form.
“Think of Tiny Vinyl as a fun collectible,” the company explains, likening the format to a baseball card that happens to double as a record.
A Growing Lineup of Major Artists
Tiny Vinyl is launching with an impressive slate of artist partnerships. The first series of releases includes collectible discs from some of the world’s biggest stars, such as:
- Lainey Wilson
- Kacey Musgraves
- Rihanna
- Ariana Grande
- Chappell Roan
- Noah Kahan
- Tate McRae
- Britney Spears
- The Rolling Stones
- Black Sabbath
- Mötley Crüe
- Frank Sinatra
- Doja Cat
- Doechii
- KATSEYE
- Lola Young
- Bruno Mars

These items are available exclusively through Target and other national retailers, with additional bespoke editions planned for special album launches, tours, fan clubs, and online sales. Each Tiny Vinyl is individually numbered and produced in limited quantities to enhance its collectibility.

Innovation Rooted in Nostalgia
Tiny Vinyl was founded by Neil Kohler and Jesse Mann, who noticed two trends converging: the explosive resurgence of vinyl records and the growing popularity of miniature collectibles. Working alongside Nashville Record Pressing, a subsidiary of GZ Media and one of the world’s leading vinyl manufacturers, they developed the new 4” format to bring something fresh to the market without sacrificing audio quality.
After testing the concept with artists in Nashville, Kohler and Mann quickly realized they had created a product with broad appeal. Each Tiny Vinyl is crafted to the same high manufacturing standards as traditional 12” records and is made from 100% bio-attributed vinyl. Because the discs use only a fraction of the material required for a full-size record, they offer a more sustainable option for collectors.
In addition, each Tiny Vinyl includes two tracks. Every disc sold counts as two track sales, meaning just five Tiny Vinyls equal one album sale under Billboard and RIAA rules.
A Format Designed for the Modern Collector
With vinyl sales in the U.S. now surpassing 50 million units annually, Tiny Vinyl enters the market at a time when physical media is enjoying a sustained revival. Compact, limited-edition, and created in collaboration with major artists, Tiny Vinyl provides fans a new way to engage with the music they love.
