Hailey Whitters Announces Nostalgic EP “I’m In Love”

Hailey Whitters, the talented country star hailing from Iowa and based in Nashville, has just thrilled her fans with exciting news. The ACM New Female Artist of the Year has announced the upcoming release of her highly-anticipated six-song EP titled “I’m In Love.” Set to debut on July 28, the EP will be available through Pigasus / Songs & Daughters / Big Loud.

The EP’s title track, aptly named “I’m In Love,” has already been released, creating a wave of anticipation for the official music video, which is scheduled to premiere this Friday, July 14. With her previous albums, “Where The Dream” and “Raised,” Whitters explored her Nashville experience and her roots in the heartland, respectively. Now, with “I’m In Love,” she delves into her love for 90s country music, while unraveling themes of relationships, heartbreak, and finding love.

Speaking about the title track, Whitters expressed her immediate connection to the song, saying, “I knew the minute I heard this song I had to record it. I didn’t write it (Nicolle Galyon, Lee Miller, & Cameron Bedell did), but I wish I had. I love – pun intended – the quirky language and spirit. Every time I sing it, I’m smiling like a big ol’ sap because it just makes me so happy and puts me in a good mood.”

Continuing her reflection on the EP, Whitters shared, “My last two LPs were concept records – ‘The Dream’ being about my Nashville experience, and ‘Raised’ was a love letter to the heartland I’m from. Both of these records are foundational to who I am. Along the way, I’ve lived a lot of life and learned a lot about myself, and I’m excited to get more personal and straight from the heart with this next chapter. If you’ve made it this far, you know where I’m coming from. Now I’m ready to share where I’ve been and who I am.”

This highly-anticipated EP, produced by Jake Gear and Hailey Whitters herself, follows her remarkable rise to success after winning the New Female Artist of the Year at the 58th Academy of Country Music Awards in May. During the awards show, she captivated the audience with a performance of her RIAA gold-certified hit single, “Everything She Ain’t.” Billboard recognized Whitters as their July 2023 all-genre Chartbreaker, commending the success and ascent of her breakout single, which has spent an impressive 62 weeks on their Country Airplay chart and made her debut on the Hot 100 chart in May.

Hailey Whitters has been making waves across various platforms, starting the year with notable appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, NBC’s TODAY, and The Kelly Clarkson Show. Additionally, the talented Kelly Clarkson performed a cover of “Everything She Ain’t” on her own show, The Kelly Clarkson Show, earlier this year. The single has become a sensation on TikTok, amassing over 175 million plays and inspiring numerous trends on the platform.

Whitters’ previous album, “Raised,” received critical acclaim and garnered praise from prestigious publications such as The New Yorker, People, New York Magazine, and NPR’s Weekend Edition. Rolling Stone placed the album at the top of their Best Country and Americana Albums list, while Grady Smith and Holler both included it on their Best Albums of the Year lists.

Having already embarked on her headline “Raised” tour and supported Shania Twain on her “Queen of Me Tour,” as well as joining Dierks Bentley on tour earlier this year, Whitters is currently amidst a festival-packed summer. Fans can catch her electrifying performances at Country Thunder, Faster Horses, Country Jam, TidalWave Music Festival, Bourbon & Beyond, Pilgrimage Music Festival, and more. Furthermore, this September, she will hit the road alongside Eric Church, followed by a series of dates supporting Luke Bryan. For a complete list of tour dates, visit HaileyWhitters.com.
