Just 13 months after his first release, Texas native and fast-rising country artist Hudson Westbrook is ready to make a bold statement with his 17-track debut album, Texas Forever, out July 25 via Warner Music Nashville / River House Artists.

A Deeply Personal, Texas-Built Project

Written entirely by Westbrook alongside a trusted circle of collaborators, Texas Forever reflects the young artist’s upbringing and musical identity with sincerity and charm. The album explores themes of hard work, heartbreak, small-town pride, and the kind of love that lasts—painting a vivid picture of life under wide North Texas skies.

The collaborators on the album include Neil Medley, Lukas Scott, Reid Haughton, Andrew DeRoberts, Beau Bailey, and more, forming a tight-knit creative team that helped bring Westbrook’s stories to life.

“I’m so proud of this record,” says Westbrook. “I love Texas, it’s shaped so much about who I am. We wrote 50–60 songs for this project and narrowed it down to 17 that I think really represent where I am in my life right now and what I love making as an artist: songs that sound like where I grew up, but read like something that just about anyone could relate to.”

“I’ve been waiting for what feels like forever to tell y’all about this,” he adds. “I can’t wait for you to hear it and to play it for you on the road this summer.”

Available now, the album’s title track offers fans their first taste of what’s to come. A heartfelt ballad anchored by a tender fiddle and acoustic textures, “Texas Forever” delivers a timeless message about the enduring nature of true love and Southern roots. Westbrook sings:

“There’s some things that don’t change, like the red letters in the scripture / There’s some things that don’t fade, when the sun shines on the picture / Those guarantees, what’s meant to be, always go together / Like hearts and sleeves, wild and free, you and me, and Texas forever.”
