Jake Worthington, known for his traditional Texas country sound, has signed with Big Loud Texas, marking a significant milestone in his career. The announcement was made in style by none other than Miranda Lambert, the label’s co-founder, during the MuttNation Music for Mutts benefit concert at Ascend Amphitheater in Nashville on October 5. The Texas-born Lambert took to the stage to surprise the crowd, sharing the exciting news about her fellow Texan’s new label home.
“I’m really proud to say, I get to announce this from stage tonight,” said Lambert during the concert. “Our sole job is to keep the outlaw movement going and to keep the great stuff from the great state of Texas out there for the people. And as of last week, we got one of my favorite artists of all time on our label. I want y’all to welcome back to the stage my friend Jake Worthington!”
The crowd roared as Worthington joined her on stage, further cementing the excitement surrounding his official signing.
