Keith Urban to Be Honored with ACM Triple Crown Award at the 60th ACM Awards

The Academy of Country Music (ACM), in partnership with Prime Video and Dick Clark Productions (DCP), has officially announced that country superstar Keith Urban will receive the prestigious ACM Triple Crown Award at the 60th ACM Awards. The event, presented by Carnival Cruise Line and hosted by country legend Reba McEntire, will stream live around the globe on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at 8 p.m. ET / 7 p.m. CT / 5 p.m. PT on Prime Video and the Amazon Music channel on Twitch. The show will broadcast live from the Ford Center at The Star in Frisco, Texas, the world headquarters of the Dallas Cowboys.

A Milestone Honor for a Country Icon

Keith Urban joins an elite group of artists to receive the ACM Triple Crown Award, a distinction given to those who have won New Artist of the Year, Artist of the Year, and Entertainer of the Year. Urban earned Top New Male Vocalist in 2001, Male Vocalist of the Year in both 2005 and 2006, and was named Entertainer of the Year in 2019. He is the first artist to receive this honor since Carrie Underwood was recognized at the 45th ACM Awards in 2010.

To celebrate the achievement, Urban’s hit songs will be performed by fellow artists Chris Stapleton, Megan Moroney, and Brothers Osborne during the live show.

A Star-Studded Night of Performances

The 60th ACM Awards promises a night full of unforgettable performances and tributes. The celebration will kick off with a 12-minute “Songs of the Decades” medley, highlighting ACM Song of the Year winners from the past six decades. Taking the stage for this segment are Clint Black, Dan + Shay, LeAnn Rimes, Reba McEntire, Sugarland, and Wynonna Judd.

The night will also include:

  • A collaborative performance between Backstreet Boys and Rascal Flatts
  • A high-energy set from Jelly Roll and Shaboozey
  • Brooks & Dunn teaming up with Cody Johnson
  • Solo performances from Alan Jackson, Blake Shelton, Eric Church, Kelsea Ballerini, Lainey Wilson, and Miranda Lambert
  • Appearances by New Artist of the Year winners Ella Langley and Zach Top

A limited number of tickets to the 60th ACM Awards are available for purchase on SeatGeek. Fans attending in person can expect an electric atmosphere and unprecedented access to performances from some of the biggest names in country music.

The ACM Awards is the longest-running country music awards show, and in 2022 made history as the first major awards show to stream exclusively, thanks to its partnership with Prime Video. The 2025 broadcast will reach a global audience across more than 240 countries and territories.
