“The Power of Her Voice”
Country music superstar Martina McBride has been releasing anthemic music with a message for thirty years. Her legendary career is a blend of profound and bold songs brought to life by her soaring vocals, as well as a tireless consistency and pace to her new releases. In honor of McBride’s cultural impact and dedication to the country music genre, the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum have debuted their latest exhibit, “Martina McBride: The Power of Her Voice.”
“I am beyond thrilled to have my own exhibit at the Country Music Hall of Fame,” says McBride. “I’m so touched and moved by it. Thank you guys for sharing this special, special moment with me. This is surreal and overwhelming.” According to McBride, “it is a dream come true.”
McBride visited the curated exhibit in late July to give it her stamp of approval. The exposition will run from July 30, 2021 until August 7, 2022 and includes items from McBride’s childhood, standout wardrobe pieces from various shows and performances, special highlights such as her Grand Ole Opry induction by Loretta Lynn, and of course numerous awards and accolades.
McBride Performs Live at CMA Theatre
McBride returned to the Country Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s CMA Theatre on August 1st for a special performance and live Q&A session with fans. During her performance McBride played her hits “Love’s The Only House,” “Wild Angels,” and “This One’s For The Girls.” The sold-out program was filmed and will make its premiere on Tuesday, August 31, as part of the museum’s Live at the Hall online digital series. Live at the Hall is available for digital streaming on the museum’s YouTube Channel, Facebook page, and website with new episodes uploaded regularly.
