About Mary Chapin Carpenter
Revered as one of music’s “most reliable and empathetic songwriters” by Pitchfork, Mary Chapin Carpenter has sold over 16 million records throughout her illustrious career. Known for timeless hits like Passionate Kisses and He Thinks He’ll Keep Her, Carpenter boasts five Grammy Awards, two CMA Awards, and membership in the prestigious Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.

In 2024, Clark’s hit song Dear Insecurity, featuring Brandi Carlile, won Song of the Year at the Americana Honors & Awards and Best Americana Performance at the Grammy Awards.
Clark’s self-titled album, produced by Carlile, has been lauded as a career-defining project. Forbes called it “an Americana masterpiece,” while Variety praised Clark as “one of America’s treasures.”
