Randy Travis’ “More Life Tour” Heads to Bowling Green, KY
Country Music Hall of Famer Randy Travis is set to bring his highly anticipated “More Life Tour” to the Southern Kentucky Performing Arts Center in Bowling Green, Ky., on November 3. Fans will be treated to an extraordinary musical experience as Travis’ original touring band, accompanied by special guest vocalist James Dupré, performs a setlist featuring all 16 of Travis’ No. 1 hits. The performance will be enriched with video highlights from Travis’ illustrious career in music, film, and television.
While Randy Travis will not be singing due to the effects of a stroke he suffered in 2013, which left him with aphasia, he will still play a central role in the evening. Travis will take the stage alongside his wife, Mary, engaging with fans and sharing in the celebration of his music. Dupré and the band will perform Travis’ iconic hits, including “On the Other Hand,” “Forever and Ever, Amen,” and “Three Wooden Crosses.”
The “More Life Tour,” which kicked off in June at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, follows the release of Travis’ latest single, “Where That Came From.” This track, his first new recording in over a decade, debuted at No. 45 on Billboard’s Country Airplay chart and has been warmly received by fans and radio alike.
