Ray Fulcher Set to Make ‘Opry’ Debut with Plans to Tour This Fall

Ray Fulcher Set to Make Grand Ole Opry Debut

For Ray Fulcher, performing in the Grand Ole Opry has been a dream of his for years, especially since moving to Nashville.

“The first year after I moved to Nashville, the world was just spinning for me. I was trying to figure everything out. I believe that the first moment for me that Nashville felt like ‘home’ was when I did a songwriters round. This was about six months after I moved, and the way people were listening and reacting to these songs made me realize this place was for me. This was true because I was now able to do things that I had always dreamt of.”

But now, Ray finally has his debut performance set for this upcoming Friday, June 25.

“People have asked me in the past, ‘what’s your favorite place to play,’” said Ray. “And I’d say, ‘well, I can tell you, but the answer will change if I ever play the Opry, because after that, it will ALWAYS be the favorite place I’ve played.’”

Ray Fulcher: Grand Ole Opry

And of course after Friday, Ray will finally be able to live his dream.

The artist spoke on the Grand Ole Opry further saying, “I grew up on old country and watching YouTube videos of the Opry dreaming of one day standing there in the circle. So to have it actually happening is both surreal and the highest honor. In my opinion, there’s not a more special place in all of music.”

While living this ‘surreal dream’ on Friday, Ray will also debut his brand new music, including three new singles, “Girl In It”, “Way Out”, and “Bucket List Beers”, all of which were of course written by Ray himself. You can pre-save all three singles now. Aside from the Grand Ole Opry, Ray also plans to perform his new music elsewhere, which will be on two tours this fall.

Touring With Luke Combs and Ashley McBryde

This fall, Ray Fulcher is scheduled to join Luke Combs on tour for a third time on his “What You See Is What You Get” tour. In addition, Ray plans to tour with Ashley McBryde in the fall as well.

Ray admits that he is most excited about the opportunity to play in an arena for the first time.

The artist also stated that he admires both McBryde and Combs dearly and cannot wait to share the stage with both. The artist truly hopes to bring some amazing energy to the shows, as this will be his arena debut.
