A song to party to, Shelby Lee Lowe’s newest single, “Can’t Get There From Beer” provides lyrical lessons on alcoholic libations to soothe a broken heart. Reflecting on the memories of a failed relationship, Lowe advises the listener on the best concoctions that one should choose when they need to drink up and move on.
“This is one of my favorite songs to play out live,” says Lowe. “‘Can’t Get There From Beer’ is a jam for sure. It was a blast to write this with Andrew Scott Wills and Keesy Timmer (Kelsea Ballerini’s Yeah Boy). ‘Can’t Get There From Beer’ reminds me of songs I’ve played in clubs since I started. It has the barroom, good time feel to it,” Lowe explains.

Who is Shelby Lee Lowe?
Born and raised in Possum Trot, Tennessee, Lowe began playing music at a young age. Influenced by the Bakersfield sound and infatuated with all things country, Lowe sought an education in the industry. A graduate of the Middle Tennessee State University Recording Industry program, Lowe had his mind set on becoming a professional recording artist. Since the release of his debut self-titled album in 2016, the Tennessee native has secured publishing and booking deals finding himself performing alongside Charlie Daniels, Brett Young, Michael Ray, Chris Janson, Darryl Worley & Sister Hazel. Lowe was also named one of our 21 Artists to Watch in 2021.
During lockdown, Lowe used his spare time to hone his craft and create new music delivering an EP titled Something In Me assisted by the production of Andrew Scott Wills (Jerrod Niemann, Lucas Hoge, and Stephanie Quayle). This fall he will be premiering a brand new album also produced alongside Wills titled Stubborn Heart.
