Country music legends are set to unite for a night to remember as Country Music Hall of Fame member Tanya Tucker and rising star Orville Peck co-host the official after-party for the second night of Peck’s sixth annual Nashville Rodeo. The event will take place on August 24 at Tanya Tucker’s Tequila Cantina, a vibrant spot that’s quickly becoming a Nashville favorite.
Nestled on the second floor of Nudie’s Honky Tonk on Lower Broadway, Tanya Tucker’s Tequila Cantina perfectly captures the iconic “Delta Dawn” singer’s spirited personality. Since its opening in May, the cantina has garnered rave reviews for its lively atmosphere, delicious Mexican-inspired cuisine, and a cocktail menu that features Tucker’s signature tequila brand, Cosa Salvaje. Highlights include the “Delta Dawn,” “Come On Honey,” and “Tanya’s Margarita,” all crafted to pair beautifully with the cantina’s standout dishes.
Guests attending the after-party can expect an unforgettable night of live music, flowing drinks, and the unmistakable energy that only Music City can provide. The celebration kicks off at 11 p.m., offering fans the chance to join Tucker and Peck for a unique blend of classic and contemporary country flair.
The venue, Nudie’s Honky Tonk, is itself a Nashville landmark, housed in a historic 100-year-old building on Broadway. It’s famous for its extensive collection of rare country music memorabilia and stage costumes, including designs by renowned tailor Nudie Cohn, who dressed legends like Hank Williams and Johnny Cash. The honky tonk boasts the longest bar in Music City, stretching over 100 feet and embedded with 9,465 silver dollars. Visitors can also marvel at Nudie’s customized Cadillac El Dorado, the “Nudie Mobile,” which hangs on the wall and is insured for $400,000.
Tanya Tucker, who burst onto the country music scene at just 13 with her hit “Delta Dawn” in 1972, has remained a defining voice in the genre. Her career, marked by her edgy, classic style, has inspired generations of artists. Recently, she added two GRAMMY® Awards to her accolades in 2020 and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame, solidifying her status as a modern-day legend.
The after-party is open to the public, but space is limited, so guests are encouraged to arrive early, dust off their boots, and join Tucker and Peck for what promises to be an epic celebration in the heart of Nashville.
