60th ACM Awards: Nominee Highlights

Ella Langley Leads with Eight Nominations
First-time ACM Award nominee Ella Langley tops the list with eight nominations, including Female Artist of the Year and New Female Artist of the Year. Her collaboration with Riley Green, you look like you love me, has earned six nominations, including Single of the Year, Song of the Year (both as an artist and songwriter), Music Event of the Year, and Visual Media of the Year (as an artist and director).
Cody Johnson Secures Seven Nominations
Cody Johnson ties for the most nominations among male artists, earning seven nods. He receives his second nomination for Entertainer of the Year and is recognized for Song of the Year for Dirt Cheap, along with Single of the Year and Visual Media of the Year. Johnson is also competing against himself in the Visual Media of the Year category with his duet I’m Gonna Love You alongside Carrie Underwood. His seven nominations this year mark a personal record and make him the most-nominated Texas-born artist in this year’s lineup.
Morgan Wallen’s Seven Nominations
Morgan Wallen also garners seven nominations, including his third consecutive nomination for Entertainer of the Year. His collaboration with Post Malone on I Had Some Help has earned him four nominations—three as an artist and one as a songwriter.
Lainey Wilson Earns Recognition Across Six Categories
Lainey Wilson stands out as the artist with the most nominations across different categories. She receives six nominations, including her first-ever nomination for Artist-Songwriter of the Year. Her Song of the Year nomination marks her fourth consecutive year being recognized in this category, bringing her total nominations in this field to seven (including both artist and songwriter credits).
Luke Combs’ Triple Crown Opportunity
Luke Combs is once again nominated for Entertainer of the Year. A win in this category would secure him the prestigious Triple Crown Award, which requires wins in Entertainer of the Year, New Artist (Male, Female, Duo, or Group), and Artist (Male, Female, Duo, or Group) categories. Past recipients of this honor include Lainey Wilson, Chris Stapleton, Miranda Lambert, and Carrie Underwood. This marks Combs’ sixth consecutive year being nominated for both Male Artist of the Year and Entertainer of the Year.
Additional Nominee Highlights
- Chris Stapleton earns six nominations, including his tenth consecutive nod for Male Artist of the Year—a title he has won four times, including at last year’s awards.
- Old Dominion secures a nomination for Group of the Year, marking their tenth consecutive year in the category. They have won the award seven years in a row.
- Brothers Osborne receive their 18th ACM nomination with a nod for Duo of the Year, an award they have claimed four times.
- Kacey Musgraves picks up three nominations, bringing her career total to 30, including nine for Female Artist of the Year. She previously won this award in 2018, the same year she took home Album of the Year for Golden Hour.
