Tracy Lawrence, the iconic country music singer, songwriter, and philanthropist, has announced the release of his Live at Billy Bob’s Texas album, which is set to release on May 12, 2023. The 18-track album captures the energy and excitement of Lawrence’s performance at the World’s Largest Honky Tonk, Billy Bob’s Texas, where he reinvigorated his classic hits with his authentic country twang live on-stage.
The album features fan favorites like “Alibis,” “Find Out Who Your Friends Are,” “Paint Me A Birmingham,” and “Time Marches On.” Lawrence also puts his twist on a couple of the genre’s most recognizable tracks, including “In Color” and “The Devil Went Down to Georgia.” The album includes two encores that showcase Lawrence’s impressive career spanning the last three decades.
“I have always looked forward to playing at Billy Bob’s throughout the years,” shares Lawrence. “I’m excited for fans to be able to hear the energy that my band helps me create while on the road.” Recorded on October 8, 2022, the album captures the fans’ roar for the landmark singles that shaped Lawrence’s career.
To celebrate the album’s release, Lawrence will be performing a jam-packed show back at Billy Bob’s. The country mainstay has played over 30 shows at the Texan venue since the start of his career, and his handprints are cemented into the concert hall walls next to the likes of Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson, and Ringo Starr.
