Grammy Award winning icons Melissa Etheridge and Wynonna Judd have announced a new co-headlining trek called the Raised On Radio Tour. The two celebrated artists will share the stage throughout the summer of 2026, delivering the chart-topping songs and signature performances that have made them enduring forces in American music.
Judd reflected on the inspiration behind the tour name and the influence radio had on her early life.
“I’ve spent my entire adult life onstage, but before any of that, I was just a girl sitting close to a radio speaker, hanging on every word. That’s where it all started for me,” says Judd. She continues, “Raised On Radio isn’t just a tour name—it’s my roots and wings. It’s late nights with the dial turned low, chasing distant stations through the static. It’s songs that felt like they understood me before I understood myself. The radio was my teacher, my comfort, my escape. The songs playing through that radio shaped me as a dreamer and an artist. This tour is about going back to that feeling and sharing it with you.”
Etheridge shared similar memories about how radio shaped her musical identity.
“I was literally raised on the radio, growing up in Leavenworth I listened to WHB. They played every kind of music from rock and soul to R&B and country music. It helped shape me to become the versatile writer and musician that I am today.”
Two Legendary Artists Share the Stage
A Rock & Roll Hall of Fame nominee, Etheridge first made her mark on the rock scene with her powerful songwriting and distinctive vocal rasp. Her catalog includes fan favorites such as “Bring Me Some Water,” “Come to My Window,” and “Bein’ Alive.” She is also collaborating with Chris Stapleton on “The Other Side of Blue,” featured on her upcoming album Rise (2026).
Judd is a five-time Grammy winner and a member of the Country Music Hall of Fame. She first rose to prominence as half of the legendary duo The Judds before launching a hugely successful solo career. Throughout the 1990s and 2000s, she scored numerous hits including “No One Else on Earth,” “I Saw The Light,” and “She Is His Only Need.”
