A Breakthrough Year for Zach Top
2025 has already been a banner year for Top. He was named ACM New Male Artist of the Year and delivered a widely praised acoustic performance of his song “Use Me” during the live ACM Awards broadcast.
He also recently performed his breakout hit “I Never Lie” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. That same track earned Top his first #1 at country radio and has helped solidify his reputation as one of the genre’s most exciting rising stars.
Billboard described Top as “the future of country music,” while the 2024 MusicRow Awards honored him with the Discovery Artist of the Year title. Earlier this year, he also released the Me & Billy EP, a collaboration with two-time Grammy winner Billy Strings.
Momentum from a Strong Debut
Top’s 2023 debut album, Cold Beer & Country Music, received critical acclaim and was nominated for ACM Album of the Year. Produced by Carson Chamberlain, the record racked up over 3.5 million streams in its first week alone.
Country Evolution named Zach Top one of the 2024 Artists to Watch, a highly-regarded list of talented artists.
From Farm Roots to the National Stage
Raised in Sunnyside, Washington, Zach Top grew up immersed in classic country music on his family’s farm. At just seven years old, he formed a band with his siblings. That early start paved the way for a future in music, further shaped by years performing in bluegrass bands throughout his teens and early twenties.
Since moving to Nashville in 2021, Top has steadily built a loyal fanbase and a reputation for staying true to the roots of traditional country while bringing a fresh energy to the genre.
Major Summer Tour and Festivals
Top will spend the summer performing across North America as part of Dierks Bentley’s Broken Branches Tour. The schedule includes stops at iconic venues such as Toronto’s Budweiser Stage, Los Angeles’ Intuit Dome, and New York’s Madison Square Garden. He is also booked for a range of top-tier festivals, including Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Watershed Festival, and Country Calling.
