A Milestone Year for Zach Top

This career-defining achievement marks yet another highlight in what has already been a landmark year for Top. He was recently crowned 2025 ACM New Male Artist of the Year, a recognition that further cements his growing influence in the genre. He was also named one of our 2024 Artists to Watch.

Top’s momentum continued with a live performance of “I Never Lie” on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and he was recently dubbed “the future of country music” by Billboard. His rise has also earned him a New Artist of the Year nomination at the 58th Annual CMA Awards and Discovery Artist of the Year honors at the 2024 MusicRow Awards.

Adding to his string of new music releases, Top unveiled a collaborative EP titled Me & Billy, a three-song collection featuring two-time Grammy Award winner Billy Strings.

Touring Success and Debut Album Acclaim

Currently on the road for his “Cold Beer & Country Music Tour,” Top has seen overwhelming fan support—the entire tour sold out just hours after tickets went on sale. In addition to headlining his own shows, he is also appearing as a special guest on Alan Jackson’s “Last Call Tour” this spring and will join Dierks Bentley’s “Broken Branches Tour” beginning later this month.

These tour dates are in support of Top’s debut album, Cold Beer & Country Music, which has already surpassed 3.5 million streams in its first week alone. Produced by Carson Chamberlain (Billy Currington, Easton Corbin), the album has received widespread praise. The album was also nominated for ACM Album of the Year.

From Small-Town Roots to National Recognition

Raised in Sunnyside, Washington, Zach Top’s musical journey began early. Surrounded by classic country music on the family farm, he formed a band with his siblings at just seven years old, setting the stage for a lifelong pursuit of country music. He spent his teenage and early adult years performing with various bluegrass bands, before making the move to Nashville in 2021, where he has continued to build a reputation as one of the genre’s most promising new voices.
