You may have heard Kasey Tyndall’s latest song “Nothin’ Wrong With Being Country,” a badass tune about being proud of where you’re from, even if no one’s heard of it.
To accompany the song, Tyndall released a video that features her four-wheeling, fishing, and being unapologetically “country” with her artist friends, Meghan Patrick and Jenna LaMaster. “For this video, I just wanted to capture what my friends and I do best and show ourselves in our element. Country,” Tyndall shares about her inspiration behind the video.

Writing “Nothin’ Wrong With Being Country”
Before a cowrite, Tyndall read a blog belittling people who live in the country, which sparked a fire in her. She walked into the session with the premise of the song in mind and everything actualized from there.
The track features activities that tend to be synonymous with people living in small towns: faith, beer, fishing, cooking, etc. Tyndall instills a sense of pride into the listener, that not only is there nothing wrong with being country, it’s something to be proud of.
