New Album and Summer Single
The extended tour supports Top’s upcoming album, Ain’t In It For My Health, which is set for release on August 29 via Leo33. The lead single, “Good Times & Tan Lines,” has already been declared by Billboard as “one of this summer’s top country anthems,” while Country Central notes, “He possesses a swagger like nobody else in the industry.”
The album follows his 2023 breakout debut Cold Beer & Country Music, a project that earned over 3.5 million streams in its first week and was later nominated for ACM Album of the Year. Produced by Carson Chamberlain (Billy Currington, Easton Corbin), the album drew praise for its traditional country sound. The Tennessean called it full of “star-making tunes,” and Country Central deemed it “a masterclass in traditional country music.”
A Breakout Year for Zach Top
Zach Top’s recent momentum has made him one of the genre’s most talked-about newcomers. He earned his first No. 1 at country radio with the hit “I Never Lie,” and received the 2025 ACM New Male Artist of the Year award. His live performance of “Use Me” at the ACM Awards was described by American Songwriter as “a moving acoustic rendition,” while his appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon showcased his wide-reaching appeal.
Top was also nominated for New Artist of the Year at the 58th CMA Awards and received Discovery Artist of the Year at the 2024 MusicRow Awards. He recently collaborated with Billy Strings on the Me & Billy EP, blending traditional country with bluegrass roots. And of course we included him on our Country Artists to Watch list last year.
Zach Top’s Grand Ole Opry Connection
With his growing acclaim, many fans are wondering if a Zach Top Grand Ole Opry performance is in the works. Though not yet announced, his traditional sound and deep respect for country music’s roots make him a natural fit for the Opry stage.
From Washington Roots to Nashville Rising Star
Raised on a farm in Sunnyside, Washington, Zach Top grew up immersed in classic country music. He started his first band with his siblings at just seven years old and spent his early years performing in bluegrass groups. After moving to Nashville in 2021, he quickly built a name as a gifted songwriter and standout vocalist, now considered a leading voice among a new wave of traditional country artists.
