Tuesday marked a monumental moment in country music history as Reba McEntire celebrated the 50th anniversary of her first record deal with Mercury Records, signed on November 11, 1975. The milestone was commemorated in front of a live studio audience at Happy’s Place, where current MCA Records executives surprised McEntire with a 50th Anniversary plaque, honoring her extraordinary career and lasting legacy.
The presentation brought together a number of cast and crew members, including Melissa Peterman, Rex Linn, Belissa Escobedo, and others alongside MCA leadership such as Katie McCartney, Justin McIntosh, Stephanie Wright, and Mike Harris.
