Luke Combs Sets Release Date for The Way I Am

Global superstar Luke Combs has announced that his highly anticipated new album, The Way I Am, will be released March 20 via Sony Music Nashville. The 22 track project is available now for pre-order and pre-save and marks another major chapter in Combs’ already historic career.

Ahead of the album’s release, Combs has shared a new song, “Sleepless in a Hotel Room,” written by Combs alongside Randy Montana and Jonathan Singleton.

A Song Fans Have Been Waiting For

“Sleepless in a Hotel Room” offers an early glimpse into the heart of The Way I Am. The track highlights Combs’ signature blend of emotional honesty and vivid storytelling.

Reflecting on the project, Combs said, “It’s been a long process getting this thing going, but I’m really proud of this record. I’ve loved the song ‘Sleepless in a Hotel Room’ for a long time and it’s been awesome to see how excited the fans are for that one as well.”

Inside The Way I Am

Produced by Combs, Jonathan Singleton and Chip Matthews, The Way I Am further establishes Combs as one of country music’s most distinctive voices. Across the album, he balances deeply personal moments with arena ready anthems, diving into themes such as family life, the tension between career and home, self doubt, self belief and finding clarity by focusing on what truly matters.

The album includes previously released tracks “My Kinda Saturday Night,” “Days Like These,” “15 Minutes,” “Giving Her Away” and “Back in the Saddle.” A full track list will be announced at a later date.

My Kinda Saturday Night Tour Launches This Spring

To celebrate the new music, Combs will launch his massive My Kinda Saturday Night Tour this spring. The tour features sold out stadium shows across the United States, the United Kingdom and Europe.

Highlights include three nights at London’s Wembley Stadium, two nights at Edinburgh’s Scottish Gas Murrayfield, two nights at Ireland’s Slane Castle and two nights at Green Bay’s Lambeau Field. Additional stops include Notre Dame Stadium in South Bend, Neyland Stadium in Knoxville, Ohio Stadium in Columbus, Paris’ Accor Arena and Sweden’s Ullevi, among others.

A Career of Historic Milestones

The upcoming album builds on a run of groundbreaking achievements for Combs. Last year, he became the first country artist to headline both Bonnaroo and Lollapalooza, while also topping the bill at major all genre festivals including Austin City Limits, Newport Folk Festival and New Orleans JazzFest.

Combs is also the first country artist to have two songs reach one billion streams on Spotify and the first to earn four RIAA Diamond certified singles. He recently extended his record for the most consecutive number one singles at country radio, earning his 20th number one with “Back in the Saddle.”

These milestones follow his previous album Fathers & Sons, a deeply personal project centered on his experiences as a father. NPR Music praised the release, saying, “he’s going beyond the country realm now and really has become a pop star, a global popstar.”

Collaborations and Beyond the Stage

An Asheville, North Carolina native, Combs is a Grand Ole Opry member and an 11 time CMA, four time ACM and six time Billboard Music Award winner. In recent years, he has collaborated with a wide range of artists, including Post Malone on “Guy For That” and “Missin’ You Like This,” Bailey Zimmerman on “Backup Plan,” Jon Bellion on “WHY” and Alex Warren on “Ordinary (Live at Lollapalooza).”

Beyond music, Combs partnered with Opry Entertainment Group to open Category 10, an entertainment complex in downtown Nashville, with a second location set to open in Las Vegas this year.

Memorable Performances and Giving Back

Combs delivered a standout moment at the 66th Grammy Awards with a duet of “Fast Car” alongside Tracy Chapman. He also joined Eric Church, Billy Strings and James Taylor to headline Concert for Carolina, a special benefit event that raised more than $24.5 million for Hurricane Helene relief efforts. With The Way I Am arriving March 20 and a global tour on the horizon, Luke Combs continues to expand his reach while staying rooted in the storytelling that made him one of the most powerful voices in modern country music.
