Critically acclaimed Texas group Flatland Cavalry has released “Real Slow,” the fourth preview from their upcoming album Work of Heart. The laid-back track arrives as the band continues building anticipation for the project, which will be released March 27 via Lost Highway Records.
Written by Cleto Cordero, Dwight Baker, and Conner Smith, “Real Slow” captures the easygoing spirit that fans have come to expect from the six-piece outfit. The song leans into a relaxed groove that feels perfectly suited for front porch picking, blending the group’s familiar sound with a smooth two-step rhythm. The track also ties together elements from earlier chapters in the band’s catalog while hinting at the musical direction of the new album.
