A Look at Brooke Eden

One of the opening acts for Garth Brooks this summer is Brooke Eden. This Florida native has been earning a name for herself country music. Her accolades include CMT’s “Next Women of Country,” as well as Spotify and Amazon Music’s “Top Artists to Watch” lists. Eden has opened for many country a-list artists. Her first gig at 12 years old was opening for Alan Jackson. She has gone on to open for superstars such as Tim McGraw, Sugarland and Florida-Georgia Line.

Her voice stands out as a unique, folk inspired eloquent sound. To boot, she is also a writer and co-wrote her first singles, “Diamonds” and “Act Like You Don’t.” She has also appeared on Granger Smith’s Remington album, featured on “Crazy as Me.” Her lyrics speak from a broken heart, being cheated on to true love. What really brings the fans in is her honesty and fiery spirit that can be seen on stage as well as hear on her latest album, Welcome to the Weekend.

Eden credits her love of country music partly to her father, who plays in a country cover band. At the young age of five Brooke would join her dad on stage where she stole the spotlight. After college, Eden moved to Nashville where she quickly scored a record deal with Broken Row Records, which is still her label today.

The singer hasn’t always had an easy ride; she auditioned for American Idol and didn’t make the cut. Yet, her persistence and hard work has paid off as she focuses on live performances and not the charts. Her numbers on Spotify are impressive, with over 21 million streams. If given the chance, this is an artist we definitely recommend to check out!
