Fans have been anticipating eight time Grammy Award winning artist Barry Gibb’s new album GREENFIELDS: The Gibb Brothers Songbook, Vol. 1 for months now, and Gibb has finally unveiled the third song from it. “Words”, a collaboration with legendary artist Dolly Parton, is a new version of Gibb’s co-founded Bee Gees’ song. With a career spanning more than five decades, Sir Barry Gibb stands as one of the most renowned and celebrated musicians of the modern era.
New Album
Gibb’s new album GREENFIELDS: The Gibb Brothers Songbook, Vol. 1 is set to release on Capitol Records Friday, January 8th. Gibb’s album features many artists he admires including: Alison Krauss, Brandi Carlile, Gillian Welch and David Rawlings, Jason Isbell, Jay Buchanan, Keith Urban, Little Big Town, Miranda Lambert, Olivia Newton-John, Sheryl Crow and Tommy Emmanuel. Barry Gibb on the Album
When Gibb was asked about recording GREENFIELDS he shared that “From the first day we stepped into RCA Studios in Nashville, the album took on a life of its own.” Gibb said that many of the artists he worked with: “inspired me more than words can express.” It is obvious that Barry Gibb is extremely excited to finally release his new album to his myriad number of fans.
New Documentary
