You Hear Georgia

Blackberry Smoke Album

The groups ninth full-length studio album, if you don’t count their 2014 deluxe edition of Holding All The Roses, You Hear Georgia marks their 20th anniversary as a group this year. As they have for the past two decades, Blackberry Smoke continues to personify everything Georgia in their music.

On their newest project, you can hear Georgia as they honor the people, places, and sounds of their home state. With the new addition of producer Dave Cobb a fellow Georgian, “You Hear Georgia” pays tribute to the band’s commitment to their roots. In addition to their normal lineup, the project also features Benji Shanks (Guitar) and Preston Holcomb (Percussion) as well as special guests Jamey Johnson, Warren Haynes, and The Black Bettys.

Since their formation in 2001, Blackberry Smoke has continued to build their fanbase with their music also prominently featured in the hit television series “Yellowstone.” In addition to their relentless tour schedule, the group remains dedicated to charitable work and has raised nearly $500,000 for children’s cancer research.
