Jason Aldean Earns Two Diamond Certifications for “You Make It Easy” and “Dirt Road Anthem”

Jason Aldean Wins Two Awards

Jason Aldean has reached a major career milestone, earning his first two RIAA Diamond certifications for “You Make It Easy” and “Dirt Road Anthem.”

The country superstar was surprised with the honors backstage at his sold-out Double Down Tour stop in Washington, D.C., on August 20. The certifications recognize the lasting success of two songs that have become defining parts of Aldean’s catalog and his live performances.

The milestone comes shortly after a wave of new RIAA certifications for Aldean. Earlier in August, 12 of his albums and singles received new Platinum certifications, including My Kinda Party, which is now certified 6x Platinum.

“Dirt Road Anthem,” from the multi-Platinum My Kinda Party, became one of the signature breakthrough songs of Aldean’s career. “You Make It Easy” has remained a fan favorite since its release.

Jason Aldean Reflects on a Career First

For Aldean, reaching Diamond status with two songs is a milestone he never expected when the recordings were made. He credited his fans for giving both songs a life beyond their original releases.

“Having two songs reach Diamond status is something I never could have imagined when we were making these records,” said Aldean. “These songs have taken on a life of their own because of the fans. I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who has listened, streamed, bought the records, come to the shows and made these songs part of their lives. It’s special to have a moment that is still a career first all these years in, especially one that is all due to the fans. Thank you guys so much. We want to keep doing this and keep putting out songs and touring for a long time to come, and we don’t take getting to do this for granted.”

The latest certifications add to an already impressive list of career achievements for the Georgia native.
