Reba McEntire is putting the spotlight on one of her longtime friends and collaborators with the release of Tourist – EP, her fifth music capsule celebrating 50 years of music.
Available now via MCA, the five-song collection showcases the songwriting of GRAMMY Award winner Brandy Clark, who has a writing credit on every track, including the title song “Tourist.” Clark co-wrote the track with Jeremy Spillman and Travis Meadows.
The EP was produced by McEntire and Buddy Cannon, with additional production credits on select tracks. The release gives McEntire another opportunity to showcase songs from one of her favorite songwriters.
“Every song I’ve recorded of Brandy’s, pretty much every song I’ve listened to that she sent to me, touches my heart,” McEntire shared with Billboard. “She’s one of my favorite songwriters of all time.”

Clark was recently named one of The New York Times’ 30 Greatest Living American Songwriters, adding another significant honor to her acclaimed career as a songwriter and artist.
McEntire and Clark most recently shared the stage at the 68th Annual GRAMMY Awards. McEntire was nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for “Trailblazer,” a song written by Clark, Miranda Lambert, and Lainey Wilson.
Clark’s songwriting presence throughout Tourist further highlights the creative connection between the two artists.

Reba McEntire’s 50-Year Music Celebration
Tourist is the latest installment in McEntire’s yearlong celebration of 50 years in music. The country legend is releasing a new music capsule each month, with each collection pairing a new recording with songs that span her five-decade career.
Previous releases include One Night In Tulsa – EP, Hurt Like That – EP, Ain’t Gonna Keep It Waitin’ – EP, and Ring Ring – EP.
Each music capsule is accompanied by a curated playlist. The Continuation Of Reba is set to arrive September 1, highlighting an artist who continues to evolve while remaining rooted in the truth, strength, and distinctive voice that have defined her career.
Reba McEntire’s Enduring Career
McEntire’s career has stretched across music, television, film, theater, retail, and hospitality, making her one of country music’s most recognizable entertainment figures.
A member of the Country Music Hall of Fame and Hollywood Bowl, McEntire has earned more than 50 awards from organizations including the ACM Awards, American Music Awards, CMA Awards, GRAMMY Awards, GMA Dove Awards, and People’s Choice Awards. She was also a recipient of the 2018 Kennedy Center Honors.
In 2026, McEntire was inducted into the National Recording Registry of the Library of Congress with Rumor Has It as part of the class of 2026. She has earned 35 career No. 1 singles and sold more than 58 million albums worldwide.
McEntire also holds the record for the most Top 10 hits among female artists on the Billboard Country Airplay chart, with 60 Top 10s. Her Top 10 success has spanned five consecutive decades, placing her alongside George Jones, Willie Nelson, and Dolly Parton as the only artists to accomplish the feat.
Beyond music, the Oklahoma native and Golden Globe-nominated actress has appeared in multiple films, starred on Broadway in Irving Berlin’s Annie Get Your Gun, and led the television series Reba for six seasons.
